Frequently Asked Questions

I’m new here. Which class is best for me to take as a first-timer?

  • All of our classes are all-levels, so you’re welcome to jump right in! However, if you are new to the reformer, a great place to start is our Power Lite class. Your instructor will take you through how the reformer works and answer any questions you have before class starts. Please arrive 15 mins early to your first class!

It’s my first time visiting the studio. What do I need to bring?

  • For all reformer studio classes: Grip socks are required! They are available for purchase in the studio. Otherwise, come with water bottle in hand, ready to workout!

  • For all training studio classes: Please wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes.

  • Water dispenser and towels are available, and you can find Boxed Water and protein shakes for sale in-studio as well!

How often should I attend class?

  • For best results in strength, increased muscle mass, and fat loss, we recommend taking at least three classes on a weekly basis — two rigorous strength training workouts, such as a variation of Power Reformer and/or Strong & Lean, and one HIIT class, such as Fit AF and/or Cardio Reformer. Movement classes, including Reformer Pilates and Reformer Tone & Stretch are recommended 1-2X per week for mobility and recovery.

  • You will start feeling (and seeing!) results within ~10 classes depending on how often you attend.

  • You may talk to any of our coaches to discuss specific fitness goals you have. We will work with you to come up with a workout routine that works best for you!

No-Show/Late Cancellations

  • To honor our reservation system, keep available spots open for other members, and pay the instructors:

    • You may cancel a reservation prior to 12 hours before class time to avoid the late cancellation fee.

  • A late cancellation (less than 12 hours) will result in:

    • Class forfeiture (loss of class credit)

    • $15 penalty for Unlimited Memberships (Monthly Unlimited, 6 Month Unlimited, Annual Unlimited)

    • This also applies to changing to a different class with less than 12 hours notice.

    • The reason is this affects available spots for others, as well as instructor pay.

  • A no-show (failure to attend a booked reservation) will result in both:

    • Class forfeiture and $25 penalty

  • You may not check in to class and then leave/not attend the class. This will result in a no-show charge.

  • Please ensure that you are checked in to class. If you come late and are not able to check in, please ask your instructor to check you in so as to avoid the no-show fee.

  • No exceptions to our no-show/late cancellation policies.

Waitlist

  • If a future class is full, you can join the waitlist for that class.

  • Up to 12 hours before the start of class, if a spot opens up, you will be automatically added to the class.

  • Once you have been added to class from the waitlist, you are officially booked, and subject to the late cancel/no show policy.

  • In less than 12 hours before the start of class, you will not automatically be added to class, and can only book by checking back for open spots.

While we work hard to create a safe, inclusive, clean, and fun, mutually respectful environment for our community, we ask that you meet us halfway and participate with equal effort! Please avoid all activity or behavior that could be distracting, disruptive, or disrespectful, and do your best to follow the below guidelines:

  • Come prepared!

  • Please arrive to class a few minutes early so that you are at your reformer and ready to start the workout when class begins.

  • Grip socks are required on the reformers, so please be prepared to purchase socks if you do not have them at the start of any reformer class.

  • Stay for class:

  • Please do your best to stay for the entire 45 minutes of class.

  • If you need to leave class early on occasion, please let your instructor know beforehand and try to take the reformer closest to the exit so as to mitigate the distractions caused by leaving early.

  • Use of phones: please leave phones with the rest of your belongings. Please do not engage with texting, calling, meetings, or other phone use during class. This includes reading texts or emails on your watch!

  • Talking during class: Please refrain from talking to other members (or your guest) during class! This includes helping someone with form. We know you know what’s going on and are being helpful, but that’s what the instructor is for!

  • Clean up your space:

  • Please clean your reformer thoroughly after each use, and leave the reformer as you found it: bars up, no springs attached, and straps and mat put away.

  • Please notify a staff member if your spray bottle is empty, if you need a new rag, or of anything that needs to be restocked or cleaned up.
