Ron Moodey

Methods: Power Reformer, Personal Training
 
Certifications: NASM-CPT, IKFF CKT Level One Kettlebell, Crossfit Endurance, TRX Trainer Level 2, TRX Sports Medicine, STOTT Pilates trained. Ron has always been interested in fitness, health and sport. He has personally trained for and completed 3 marathons, and has coached others to successfully run marathons. He has worked as the district fitness manager for Gold's Gym in central California, developing a training program that focuses on whole body movement, strength and endurance. He is STOTT Pilates trained, NASM-CPT certified, Crossfit Endurance, as well as TRX group and Sports Medicine certified. Ron finds great satisfaction in helping and motivating others to successfully reach their fitness goals, whether it is weight loss, health, strength, mobility, or preparing for a marathon. Your workouts with him will always be: different, challenging but achievable, and of course... fun.

James Dorfer

Methods: Reformer Pilates, Reformer: Tone and Stretch, Power Reformer, Jump Board, Mat Pilates
 
James was a professional dancer and musician and so much more. All of his life experience comes forward in his classes. His reformer classes tend to be thoughtful and fun, but he always tailors the class to his clients' fitness goals. He wants you to learn concepts of moving and posture while having fun and feeling it the next couple days, or 6! Nicknames he's had: Joe jr, Wizard, Nerd, Sargent, and at Tribe he might be known as the Dictator. He has many movement backgrounds and anatomical knowledge sources that will enhance your practice of Pilates and hopefully your daily life. Just come in, get ready to work it out and have fun! =)

Marlys Yvonne

Methods: Reformer Pilates, Power Reformer, Reformer: Tone and Stretch, Personal Training
 
Marlys is a fully certified Equipment and Mat Pilates instructor, receiving her training from Balanced Body in San Francisco, CA and Vitality Pilates in Seattle, WA. She danced professionally for 5 years in a ballet company before exploring more contemporary movement; finding her place here in Seattle and now continues to perform across a wide rang of mediums. Her experience in dance as well as her knowledge of the Pilates system allows her to tailor specialized cross-training regiments that challenge and bring balance to the body. Marlys is excited to bring her skills to TRIBE and will be offering group classes as well as private sessions to clients of all ages, levels, and ability.

Janna Judy

Methods: Reformer Pilates, Power Reformer, Jumpboard, Personal Training
 
Janna is a comprehensively classically trained Pilates instuctor, completing her teacher training in early 2010. Certified through the PMA. Always learning, she discovered SPX (power Pilates) and was certified with Sebastien Lagree. Recently completed Barre Training with Booty Barre creator Tracey Mallett, finding her inner swan at the barre. Janna believes the mind body connection is important in your workout. Intuitive and observant, with a focus on form and alignment, she will create a thoughtfully fun and sweaty TRIBE experience. When not in the studio, Janna can be found enjoying the outdoors with her Shiba Inu, admiring art or kicking butt at Scrabble.

Shana Davis

Methods: Power Reformer, Yoga
 
Shana’s background in yoga provides the foundation for her mind body approach to training, nutrition, stress reduction and overall wellbeing. A lifelong student of hatha yoga, Shana became certified to teach vinyasa flow in 2006. Realizing the importance of cross training in a variety of activities in order to achieve a balanced, well-conditioned body and a vibrant, stimulated mind, Shana began practicing a discipline of exercise that combined the fluidity of traditional Pilates with high intensity aerobic conditioning. She found this combination so effective and fun that she completed her SPX training in 2011 and began to teach Sebastian Lagree’s method of total body fitness. Shana’s philosophy is simple: “We’re designed to move and sweat, eat nutritionally dense food, drink water, rest, reflect, and repeat. Sometimes we lose sight of this, I’m here to help folks remember.”
A high intensity workout that combines Pilates principles, strength training, and quality movement, at a pace that keeps your heart rate elevated to ensure a full body, cardiovascular workout. More importantly, you will leave with a high metabolism that continues to burn body fat. The class will begin with a warm-up, and end with a cool-down and stretching. Bring water, a towel, and be ready to have fun, listen to great music, and sweat! Don’t worry, your instructor will modify for you and help you through
it.
This class is ideal for:
-Intermediate and advanced fitness levels (courageous beginners usually do just fine).
-Those who want the muscle tone, fat burning, and elevated metabolism that results from a well-designed, full body workout.
-Members who want to work hard, but in a safe environment, using only quality movements.
-Results!
